Use the mode dial
When a shooting mode is being used, this will light up in red. If it is green, press the  button to apply the shooting mode.
What is the mode dial?
Make sure your selection according to the shooting condition.

Turn the mode dial to select the shoting mode.
The mode selected will be displayed on the screen.
A selection screen will be displayed if set to SCENE.
Press the  and  buttons to select a scene mode.
