With its stylish exterior, the 12 Megapixel µ-7010 is the perfect blend of elegance and substance. It features a Magic Filters mode, which allows photographers to give their pictures a whole new flair. Pop-Art, for example, infuses images with striking colour to make them more intense and vivid. Additional amazing creative effects include Pin Hole, Sketch, and Fish-Eye. And framing or viewing the resulting masterpieces is easy thanks to the versatile 7x wide optical zoom (28-196mm*) and generous 6.9cm/2.7” HyperCrystal II LCD.

Another impressive new function is AF tracking, which guarantees that even moving subjects are perfectly in focus at all times. Dual IS performance further ensures that every shot is crystal clear. Meanwhile, the innovative i-Auto mode automatically identifies five commonly-encountered types of scenes and adjusts settings accordingly. What’s more, you never need to worry about looking your best with the smart µ-7010: Beauty Mode smoothes out imperfections from the final image for a fresh complexion. In-Camera Panorama mode is also included for particularly expansive shots in the great outdoors or artistic fun in the city.

The new member of the classic µ series comes with 39 languages on board. Its comprehensive suite of powerful and practical features is rounded out by xD-Picture Card and microSD** compatibility. The Olympus µ-7010 hits stores in August 2009 along with a new software version: Olympus Master 2.2 for more image management and editing possibilities.
