EISA certainly took close note this unique mix of features and bestowed the camera with the best “European Ultra Compact Camera 2008-2009” Award. The jury was won over by the combination of “good photographic performance with physical endurance”. Among its impressive features, EISA cited the µ 1030 SW’s “excellent metering, the accurate colour rendering and the fact that it is the first camera to incorporate an internal zoom with a focal length starting at 28mm (equivalent)”. And the accolades kept coming: “The camera performs well even in low light and in high contrast conditions where other compact models usually overexpose the sky”.
