Patrizio Del Duca is a reporter and travelled the world both developing personal projects as well as doing the reportages commissioned by his customers. In his shots he is always looking for the sharpest lights, for the magic atmospheres of the sunset or for the "Blue Light", when - for no more than an instant - the natural and artificial lights are melting in the air. He moved to the digital technology couple of years ago. |
In my twenty years long career I've always shot with Olympus cameras. In the beginning it was the mythical OM1, then the OM3. The Olympus cameras are my travel mates around the world; with them, I've travelled Polynesia, India, Seychelles, USA, Europe, and Africa. Couple of years ago, I've moved to digital thanks to the flexible and easy E1. The decision came out of my affection to the brand Olympus and my confidence not having experienced any technical problem in so many years. In the past, sometimes my colleagues criticized me for my choice, suggesting me to use other brands. But to me the E1 is the natural choice after the OM series. I'm very happy with the lenses which are extremely sharp and light. The body, also, can be handled better than the competitors: is not heavy and has a very harmonic style. The E1 has 5mp. Someone says it's not enough. Not for me. My photos are very sharp and I'm absolutely happy with the results obtained. Now I'm moving to the new Olympus flagship: the E3 which can well work side by side to my glorious E1.
