Digital photography was the key that opened the door for me towards photography in general. This combined with Photoshop work and the possibility of creativity and independence of expression.
Photography became my hobby when I bought the Olympus E-500 in combination with KIT lenses. This camera really motivated me and made me aware of the huge number of things digital photography allows you to do.
I love taking photographs of concerts, performances and theatre. Collaboration with bands and other different artists is very inspiring. The thing I want to achieve in my photographs from concerts and performances is a sense of that special moment and light trapped in time.
I process my concert photographs in black and white to which I add a touch of blue and sepia toning, while in my landscape photographs I play with colours.
As well as photography, I also edit video materials on a semi – professional level. |
The reason why I like the E- system is because of it's reliability and because it is safe. These two things are very important because of the conditions the photographs are taken in. Most of my concert photographs are taken outdoors and in different kind of weather conditions.
I am currently using Olympus E-3 mostly combined with Zuiko Digital 50 – 200mm lens which Olympus Croatia is so kind to let me use.
My goal is to work with musicians on tours and to pursue photography on a professional level.
