1) AF is possible in Live-Preview B mode (Macro Live Preview). The single AF operates by pressing the AEL/AFL button. The mirror pop down, the S-AF will be activated and the mirror pop up again. During the AF process, the B mode's basic display pattern gets AF target mark (white line) like an optical view finder for easier focussing.
2) Improved exposure precision when taking pictures in the macro mode and SPOT metering.
