Shooting tips:
- Sensible framing of the subject can result in a dramatic difference of the picture
- For this picture one of the basic composition rules has been used. The rocks are functioning as a picture diagonal from down left to up right.
- Thus, the frame is divided into two parts. The clear division of water and rocks gives the picture a much better composition

Shooting tips:
- If the subject is a well known animal or subject it is suggested that you take a picture of only a part instead of the whole subject. The viewer assumes the rest of the subject in any case and no intention will be lost from the core subject
- Additionally you can increase the contrast to the main object by adding other similar subjects. In this case other horses have been added in the back, the white horse is also strengthening the contrast with its colour.
- Additionally such a telephoto zoom lens has a smaller depth of field and therefore the subject in front realy stands out form the background
