Cystofibrescope CYF-5 and CYF-5A
The introduction of the CYF-5 and CYF-5A flexible cystoscopes keeps Olympus at the forefront of urological endoscopy.
To further minimize patient invasion and improve insertion, a new bullet style tip has been developed, the EVOLUTIONTIP. This has been achieved by using state-of-the-art ultra price moulding technology. The EVOLUTIONTIP enables minimally invasive observation whilst keeping unparalleled image quality and irrigation / treatment ability.
A detachable light guide cable has been adopted on the CYF-5 and CYF-5A to improve handling of the cystoscope and simplify cleaning and disinfection. The CYF-5 and CYF-5A may also be used in combination with a miniature light source (MAJ-922) allowing portability and therefore more versatility for the user.
