To make endosonography of the rectum and anus easier and less invasive, while maintaining the high -resolution imaging capability you need for optimum observation, Olympus has developed a line of rigid ultrasonic probes designed to function without the assistance of an endoscope. Two types are available - one with 7.5MHz output for visualisation of deep areas, and one with 12 MHz output for the best possible high-resolution ultrasound images. These probes are fully compatible with conventional endoscopic ultrasound systems, assuring maximum system flexibility.
