VSI is a touch screen operated advanced video management system for full integration with Olympus systems and the hospital IT environment.  The VSI Server controls all streams and switches while on the VSI Client the user can select the sources and its destination with only two clicks.

    • Live transmission of digital video streams from standard analogue PAL video signals through the IP network.

  • Integration with Advanced EndoAlpha
    • The Advanced EndoAlpha interface can control VSI.
    • VSI can control the Advanced EndoAlpha matrix switch controller.
    • The integration allows to route VSI components via Advanced EndoAlpha and vice versa.
  • Integration with ENDOBASE
    • Patient data from ENDOBASE can be directly used by VSI.
  • Integration in the hospital IT environment:
    • HL7 interface to retrieve patient and examination data from the HIS.
    • DICOM interface for image export.

    • Password protection on user level.
    • Preview of live image.
    • Easy to use touch screen interface.
    • For patient privacy a "lock" function is offered.
