"Medical thoracoscopy has been performed by pneumologists under local anaesthesia for almost 100 years. Driven by the increasing interest of pneumologists to learn this procedure, the Lungenklinik Heckeshorn has decided to offer their knowledge and experience over decades in a dedicated training course. At this workshop, the theoretical background will be combined with extensive hands-on opportunities for the single hole technique using a semi-flexible thoracoscope, in order to enable chest physicians to integrate medical thoracoscopy under local anaesthesia into their clinical practice."
