Modular design The modular design of the multi-port illumination combiners allows the integration of up to three lasers for TIRFM and an additional widefield MT10/MT20 fluorescence illumination system. |
cell^R/cell^M system integration The cell^tool TIRFM illuminators are fully integrated into the cell^R and cell^M imaging systems. Fast shutters facilitating rapid switches between all lasers and the MT10/MT20 fluorescence illumination system are controlled via the 'Experiment Manager' of the cell^R and cell^M software. |

Broad range of cell* family lasers A choice of five compact, silent and long-lived diode-pumped solid-state lasers for single or multi-line TIRFM applications is available with the following wavelengths: 405nm (50mW), 488nm (30mW), 532nm (20 or 50mW), 561nm (25mW) and 635nm (25mW). All safety features required by laser safety regulations (CE, IEC, FCC) are provided. |

Optimised beam alignment Each laser fibre is coupled in via individual ports. This ensures the optimised beam alignment required during complex timelapse experiments when rapidly switching between all lasers and the MT10/MT20 fluorescence illumination system. |

Selection of TIRFM objectives Drawing on its long-standing advanced development experience of objectives, Olympus has just introduced the UIS2 series of objectives of unmatched quality and performance. Now researchers can choose between four different objectives specifically dedicated to TIRFM. |
