Company structure

Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe is a company of Olympus Europa SE & Co. KG with its head office in Hamburg and other sites in Germany and the Czech Republic among others.

From research and development to service, we bring together the full range of core competencies required for the development and manufacturing of innovative medical technology. To do this, we collaborate with our global Olympus sales partners and various technology centers within the Olympus Corporation.

Our locations in Germany, the Czech Republic and the wider EMEA Region are closely interconnected and benefit from common marketing, sales and support structures on global level. Integrated production and logistics processes also make a high degree of specialization possible.

Our Responsibility

The German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz - LkSG) regulates corporate responsibility for the observance of human rights in global supply chains.

Olympus is committed to making a positive contribution to society and protecting people and the environment. For this reason, we are implementing the requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz; LkSG) at Olympus Winter & Ibe GmbH, part of the Development & Production centre Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe, from 1 January 2024.

Within our corporate responsibility, we rely on cooperation with our employees, business partners, suppliers and other relevant stakeholders. Effective risk management in our supply chain necessitates collaborative efforts. At the core of our principles lies a consistent and unwavering refusal to endorse or participate in any business or customer association marked by irrefutable instances of human rights violations. Our policy statement is based on this fundamental concept.

Complaints relating to human rights or environmental incidents connected with Olympus Winter & Ibe GmbH's own business activities or with those of suppliers, and which have either already occurred or threaten to do so, can be reported by telephone, e-mail or post via the protected reporting channels provided by our company. Confidentiality and the protection of whistleblowers are critically important to us. If desired, information can also be communicated anonymously. You can find more detailed information on our complaints management in our complaints procedure.
