With the OLYMPUS Underwater Mode, all you have to do is to just point the camera and press the shutter button. Colourful underwater photographs become easier to capture for everyone. The camera is automatically set to optimal white balance, exposure compensation and flash compensation settings according to the current mode. With the power zoom feature (M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-50mm F3.5-6.3 EZ and M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 EZ), the lens focal length is automatically adjusted according to the selected underwater mode. In the underwater wide mode, the telephoto end is automatically selected. For other lenses, operate the zoom dial and set to the widest angle.
While underwater, light from flash doesn’t travel distances very well, so it is necessary to get close enough to your subject when photographing.
